Our Prayer Circle

Each gathering blends reflection, teaching, and contemplative prayer. Together, we explore the mysteries of Mary’s life, her role in Christ’s ministry, and her ongoing presence as a spiritual guide.

At the heart of our journey are the 12 stars of Mary’s crown—anchor points in her life that reveal her extraordinary story:

  • Her miraculous beginnings and dedication to a life of prayer.

  • Her encounters with angels, who guided and protected her.

  • Her role as the mother of Christ, shaping his mission through her love and acceptance.

  • Her encouragement of Jesus to begin his ministry and perform his first miracle.

  • Her deep sorrows as a mother, which became the pathway to her holiness.

  • Her presence at the Cross and her place at Pentecost.

  • Her continued appearances throughout history in visions and apparitions that inspire millions.

Through these reflections, we begin to see Mary not only as the Mother of Christ but also as a teacher of love, compassion, courage, and presence.

About Mary

Mary of Nazareth is the Theotokos — the Mother of God — a descendant of mystics and visionaries who was called to her divine mission by Archangel Gabriel. Mary, the wife of Joseph and the mother of Christ, was the young woman who dedicated her entire life to serving and bringing light to the world. It is most likely that Mary was around the age of 14 or 15 when she gave birth to Jesus Christ, and so when Jesus was crucified at the age of 33, she was most likely around 48 years old. The entire spiritual initiation of this woman happened in her younger years, and this is most likely why so many of her apparitions reveal her as a young woman when she appears to mystics today.

When Jesus was on the cross, as told in the Gospel of John, he looked to his disciple and said, “Behold, your mother.” Then he turned to his mother and said, “Behold, your disciple.” In that moment, Jesus gave Mary to the world.

Mary is the Divine Mother for everyone and anyone who needs her. Whether you have a mother on earth or in heaven, whether you long for motherly guidance, or whether you feel displaced from family, Mary’s presence offers you a space to belong.

Mary’s presence continues to shine as a light for humanity. Her apparitions in Guadalupe, Lourdes, Knock, Medjugorje, and countless private visions remind us that she is still with us—offering comfort, healing, and hope.

The Crown of Mary is an invitation to:

  • Awaken the mystic within you.

  • Learn from the life and love of Mary.

  • Open your heart to her miraculous light.

  • Share her compassion with the world.

Exploring Christed Mysticism

Many of the stories we reflect on in Crown of Mary come from the Bible as well as the non-canonical text known as the Protoevangelium of James. While this is not a religious circle, we draw deep inspiration from mystical Christianity.

Mystical Christianity is about cultivating a direct, personal connection with Christ. In this space, we do that through Mary. She was the original tabernacle—the one who carried the light of Christ in her womb before bringing it into the world.

Crown of Mary is an invitation to form your own relationship with the Christ light—a light that entered the world through both Mary and Jesus. This path goes beyond the boundaries of tradition, religion, and doctrine. It is an opportunity to heal your relationship with Christ and Christianity through personal encounter and direct experience.
